In renovation projects, it is often necessary to assess the load-bearing capacity of existing structures. These assessments, along with repair and reinforcement designs for damaged or existing structures, are part of our services. We have delivered reinforcement designs for concrete, timber, and steel structures across various projects.
As projects progress, there is frequently a need to compare the costs and impacts of different solutions on usability or spatial considerations—often requiring creative problem-solving. Solutions can range from straightforward construction methods, as simple solutions are often the best, to more advanced techniques when required. In some cases, we have addressed challenges by designing column jacketing for concrete columns, carbon fiber reinforcements for concrete slabs, or foundation support with additional piles.
