Nodetec acted as a subcontractor for Kalliosuunnittelu Oy Rockplan Ltd in the project. Nodetec contributed to the design of the southern and northern shaft buildings of Finnoo II, as well as the pumping station building, focusing on cast-in-place concrete and steel structures.

The cast-in-place structures included reinforcement design and strength calculations for massive concrete components. Steel structures were designed for challenging conditions, including underground sewer tunnel shaft structures, pumping halls, and above-ground buildings. The design was carried out entirely using a Building Information Modeling (BIM) approach.

As a subcontractor, Nodetec also delivered workshop design for steel structures and precast element design for concrete components.
