We conducted the project and concept planning for the courtyard deck renovation for a residential housing association. The existing load-bearing structures of the courtyard deck were found to be significantly damaged. The assignment involved defining four alternative repair methods for the deck, preparing cost estimates for each option, and presenting the advantages and disadvantages of each solution. The outcomes of the planning phase were presented to the housing association’s board.

The As Oy Caloniuksenkatu residential building was completed in 1927, with a courtyard deck area of approximately 140 m².
